Product Details

Weitlaner Retractor is a self-retaining, finger ring retractor with a cam ratchet lock used for holding back tissue and exposing a surgical site. It features curved shanks leading to blades with two to six, sharp or blunt, outward curving prongs. The prongs interdigitate when the instrument is closed.

Commonly used in basic plastic surgery, large bone and joint procedures, mastoid surgeries, and soft tissue dissection. It is essential for herniotomy, femoropopliteal bypass, and neurosurgical procedures like craniotomies. Additionally, it is used in cardiac surgeries such as pericardial pacemaker implantations.
