⚠️ Technical Notes & Maintenance
Sterilize temperature ≤ 135 °C (Improved type ≤ 155 °C). Exceeding 135 °C may damage the motor.
Normal bone drills hold bits < 6mm. Acetabulum reaming drills (torque-focused) run at ~300 rpm, while cannulated drills (with nails/K-wires) run at ~600 rpm.
Batteries must be removed from the power tool after surgery to prevent automatic discharge and shorten battery life.
The battery is not autoclavable and cannot be sterilized.
Cranial burs should be washed immediately after surgery to avoid blood adhesion, then dried thoroughly.
Ensure the battery compartment in the handpiece remains free of water after sterilization.
Cranial bur blades are medical stainless steel; they are flexible to avoid breakage but can wear down. We suggest using each blade for only one surgery.
